Hurricane Watch issued for parts of Louisiana

The National Hurricane Center has issued a Hurricane Watch from the East of Morgan City to Indian Pass, Florida. That included Metro New Orleans and Lake Pontchartrain.

As of 10:00am, the storm has winds of 65 miles per hour and is moving Northwest at 18 miles per hour.

There has been a consistent westward movement in the Hurricane Center's path for the storm. The current track shows landfall near Biloxi,Mississippi Wednesday morning as a category 2 hurricane. This could change as the day continues.

State Officials suggest you start preparing for Issac's possibile impact on Louisiana today.
