Tonight's fireworks celebration at the levee in downtown Baton Rouge is expected to bring around 15,000 to 25,000 people.
As you can imagine, vendors are gearing up for a huge night.
They're expecting to rake in hundreds of dollars in profits; this doesn't count the thousands of dollars in drink sales that will be going directly to the USS KIDD.
"It's a lot of fun to do. You meet a lot of people, and have a lot of fun,” stated vendor Wyatt Wentworth.
Baton Rouge Police say plan if you're head downtown, get there early.
More than 100 officers will be down there making sure everything happens as safely as possible.
