Bartenders to pool tips to benefit local charities

One local bartender is giving up her tips tonight as a way of giving back to the community. That’s because she’s part of a group called The Barman’s Fund.

The group got started in New York, but now has a presence here in south Louisiana. Tonight at The Spanish Moon, bartender Lacey McRight will give up her tips. They will then be donated to a local charity group.

The Spanish Moon is located on Highland Road. Doors open at 9:00 p.m. and there is no cover charge tonight, Tuesday, April 17.
